FSI Elevates Quality, Compliance, and Employee Engagement Through Implementation of COR Training and Files Review Program
Improved COR Process and Increased Job Satisfaction
Department of State Executive issued an update to the Procurement Information Bulletin (PIB) which included new contract file requirements and a contracting officer representative (COR) file checklist to be used as an aid to properly maintain files for compliance and review by the contracting officer (CO). The PIB further required the Head of Contracting Activity of FSI to prepare and execute a quality control plan and contract file audit plan to be submitted annually by the end of December for review audit by the Office of the Procurement Executive. Within a short time frame, FSI was required to significantly change and improve the annual COR files control and administration process in order to comply with the newly issued Department of State Executive guidelines.
