New Resource for Senior Project Executives

PMO Perspectives, a new blog for project management office directors and other senior PM professionals, has launched. The blog meets the need for more information resources dedicated to senior PM professionals.

Leveraging the insights provided by ESI International’s global client roster, the blog will feature writers from ESI instructors, subject matter experts, executives and special guests. Initial post topics include:Saving PMOs from failure,Key skills and competencies for PMO directors,Justifying the PMO to the CFO andReporting to senior management.

“The recent economic pressures have increased senior management’s focus on the role of project management and the executives that lead it,” said John Elsey, President & CEO, ESI. “PMO Perspectives enables us to share the insights we have as the largest PM learning provider in the world, with the greater PM leadership community.”

The blog is an extension of ESI’s Centre of Excellence, an invitation-only program run in the UK and Europe to facilitate networking and learning for senior project/programme management executives. Members do not need to be ESI clients.
