ESI International Wins US Treasury Contract

ESI to Deliver Project and Contract Management Professional Development Services

Arlington, VA – January 11, 2010

A five-year contract was awarded by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to ESI International, the company announced today. The contract is for the implementation of the Treasury’s project and contract management learning program and will incorporate a broad scope of curricula and services. The contract represents one of ESI’s largest, single awards to date.

In addition to traditional, in-classroom, instructor-led learning, ESI will work with Treasury to assess learning needs; benchmark and track progress of individuals and departments; and provide coaching to help ensure that learning is effectively adopted by staff. Courses will be delivered at sites across the U.S., as well as via ESI’s eLearning platforms.

“We are proud of the services we have provided to the Department of Treasury over the past decade,” said Bill Damaré, Regional Vice President, ESI. “While our past performance demonstrates Treasury can rely on us, I believe ESI’s wealth of knowledge and experience, gained over nearly 30 years of collaboration with federal agencies, was instrumental in assuring Treasury that ESI will build their talent and deliver the kind of results their program demands.”

The learning program’s design will guide the U.S. Treasury Department toward meeting its goals in achieving Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) in two critical areas: the Federal Acquisition Certification in Contractin (FAC-C) and the Federal Acquisition Certification in Program and Project Management (FAC-P/PM). Additionally, it will benefit the Department in its retention of a highly-skilled acquisition workforce.
