Beijing Oriental Conseil Partners World’s Leading PM Learning Firm

Agreement Provides Greater Access to ESI International Expertise

Beijing – June 05, 2009

State owned enterprises (SOEs) throughout China now have access to project management expertise from the world’s leading project management learning services firm, ESI International, through an agreement with the Beijing Oriental Conseil Education and Training Center, an approved learning centre specializing in learning programs through collaboration with local and overseas institutes of higher education and learning institutions.

Through strong, established relationships with many of the SOE’s, Beijing Oriental Conseil can now offer those enterprises – and their employees – the opportunity to improve performance and efficiency with ESI’s globally recognized, industry-leading learning programs. BOC’s deep understanding of the SOE’s unique needs, combined with ESI’s global best practices, deliver both relevance and value.

“Local knowledge and global reach are the keys to delivering products and services that are meaningful to our clients,” said John Elsey, President & CEO, ESI. “Our partnership with BOC ensures that China’s SOEs have the same access to our learning programs and local expertise as our other clients across the globe.”

“The main reason for us to partner with ESI is our acknowledgement of ESI’s programs, instructors, and experience. BOC possesses rich resources and experiences in promoting management learning,” said Xu Jin Xi, President, BOC, at the signing ceremony. “It is our mission to introduce high-level management concepts and advanced management tools to the Chinese enterprises, hoping to provide assistance to those SOEs who wish to gain competitive advantage in the global market. I am highly confident this collaboration between ESI and BOC will be a success as we work towards advancing the scientific management process of Chinese enterprises.”

Oriental represents the Paris-based HEC Executive MBA program in China. However, the new agreement with ESI, effective immediately, marks Oriental’s first partnership with a project management learning organization.

“We’re fortunate to have found a partner that shares our vision and commitment to quality learning,” said Elsey.
