Office to Meet Needs of Expanding Client Base in Northern Gulf Region

To better meet the growing needs of the Northern Gulf Region, ESI International announced today the opening of its second Middle East office in the Manama business district in Bahrain. The office will support ESI’s regional headquarters in Dubai, UAE and focus on serving the needs of ESI’s clients in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
“The incredible demand for project management skill development in the region requires that we expand our Middle East presence,” said Alan Garvey, “This new location will allow ESI to offer the comprehensive range of ESI's services to new and existing clients throughout the region providing the essential benefit of local experts with sound knowledge of the local business landscape.”
Mohammad Daudi will serve as ESI regional manager for the office, bringing more than 10 years' experience in Middle East markets working with blue chip clients across the region. “The Middle East is one of the fastest growing regions in the world and I'm excited about the opportunity this offers ESI clients,” said Daudi. “It is fantastic to see so many forward thinking organizations understanding the value proposition ESI offers and the trust placed with us to help them develop and improve their project delivery capability.”
Throughout 2008 ESI secured significant new contracts in the telecommunications, oil and gas, constructions, transportation and financial services sectors in the region as it continued to expand local staff capacities. Currently ESI works very closely with a number of key accounts in the region to deliver project management development programmes tailored to meet the unique challenges faced in this region. In particular, ESI works closely with its client to help overcome perhaps the most difficult project management related issue for all industries across the Gulf region – staff recruitment and retention.
